TRAVERSE CITY, MICH. (March 16, 2016) – Big Brothers Big Sisters (BIGS) Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake officially kicks off today!

This event is Big Brothers Big Sisters most important fundraiser of the year, providing 30% of the organization’s annual revenue.

If you care about kids and can “spare” a little time for fun, join us!  No bowling skills are required to have a good time.  All proceeds are used locally to create and nurture life-changing friendships between at-risk youth and caring adult mentors.

Teams of 4 can register at bigsupnorth.com – go to the Big Blue Events button, pick your location Harbor Springs or Traverse City and reserve a lane on the date and time you wish to attend.  Each team member is asked to collect a minimum of $125 in donations over the next several weeks, which can easily be completed online.

Following several weeks of fundraising, we will host a celebration at Northern Lights in Harbor Springs on Friday, May 6, and over 3-days at Incredible Mo’s May 10-12, where teams will play the arcade, bowl, lip-sync, enjoy some amazing food and win some incredible prizes.

BIGS would like to recognize our Headline Sponsor FOX Motors, along with the following VIP Sponsors: Bill Marsh Automotive, 4Front Credit UnionCherryland Electric Cooperative, Chemical Bank, Midwestern Broadcasting and Incredible Mo’s.

BIGS is the longest serving youth mentoring organization in the region serving children in the five-county area.  Its mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better.  You can help provide the simple gift of friendship by joining the Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser TODAY!

If you can’t participate in Bowl for Kids’ Sake, go to bigsupnorth.com and make a donation to help BIGS reach it’s fundraising goal of $100K.
