Sport Clips Haircuts, located in the South Crossings Plaza at 2508 Crossing Circle in Traverse City, presented a $1,000.00 donation to Cecilia Chesney, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Michigan. As part of their grand opening celebration, Sport Clips asked their clients to donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters and offered free MVP Haircut Experiences, their signature service, to donors.
Rick and Nancy Ohle, the Team Leaders (owners) of the Traverse City Sports Clips store, are committed to giving back to the community, especially those organizations and initiatives that support the youth of the community and our military veterans. According to the Ohle’s, “we are very proud of our Sports Clips Team and their commitment to helping Big Brothers Big Sisters as we opened our new store and introduced Sport Clips to the Traverse City community. They provide a wonderful service to the youth in Northwestern Michigan and we were proud to partner with them.”
“Not only did the team at Sport Clips provide free haircuts and request donations from the public, they also provided our Bigs and Littles with free haircuts”, said Executive Director, Cecilia Chesney. “We are very thankful and excited to welcome this new business in to Traverse City, it’s not often a new business moves to town and jumps in like this to help out”, she said.
